Flamenco Blanca
These guitars are a modified version of a Miguel Rodriguez guitar based
on the design of Eric Monrad. They have the following innovations
taught to me by Eric. A continuous lining connects the sides to the
top, which creates a much stiffer "drum rim" effect, but without the
added weight of laminated sides. This allows for a thinner, lighter
top, resulting in a more responsive and bright sound. The bridge patch
is replaced by two lattice braces, making the guitar louder and
punchier. Each top is carefully measured for density, allowing me to
customize the sound for each player's style. I also carefully weigh
the bridge and sand it down to a specific weight, ensuring an
exceptionally responsive and explosive attack. Each instrument is
available with a German spruce or Western red cedar top, Monterey cypress or Spanish cypress* back and sides, Spanish cedar neck, and Brazilian
rosewood bridge. It is available with planetary pegs or machine heads.
This is a super light, highly responsive, bright and loud guitar. Price: $4,800 (CA residents please add appropriate sales tax)
*Spanish cypress is available for $150 extra

for its quicker transient response, but I’m also happy to build them
with spruce. They are available with Indian or Brazilian rosewood
(please contact me for price and availability) back and sides, and
Spanish cedar or mahogany neck. It is available with planetary pegs or
machine heads. These guitars are warm, explosively loud, and beautiful
to record with. You can hear Jason McGuire playing this guitar at http://www.caminosflamencos.com/SOSmix1.mp3
Price: $5,000 (CA residents please add appropriate sales tax)

Classical Guitar
These guitars are based on the designs of Miguel Rodriguez and Eric
Monrad. They have the following innovations taught to me by Eric.
A continuous lining connects the sides to the top, which creates a much
stiffer "drum rim" effect, but without the added weight of laminated
sides. This allows for a thinner, lighter top, resulting in a more
responsive and bright sound with greater volume and sustain. The bridge
patch is replaced by two lattice braces, making the guitar louder and
punchier. Each top is carefully measured for density, allowing me to
customize the sound for each player's style. They are available with
German Spruce or cedar top, Indian or Brazilian rosewood (please
contact me for price and availability) back and sides, mahogany neck
and Brazilian rosewood bridge. This is an exquisitely warm, even,
responsive and loud instrument.
Price: $5,000 (CA residents please add appropriate sales tax)
